Optimizing the process around issuing quotations

The challenge

Tendering for a construction project usually takes up a lot of time, partly because all the different quotations that have to be issued and the time needed to compare these quotations. The time concerned with these actions increases the work load, which leads to a higher stress level. The process of requesting quotations, receiving them, comparing them and eventually picking one of them can be streamlined.

The solution

Setting up a platform which allows the user to find possible subcontractors, their rating and their capacities. The same platform allows the user to request quotations by offering templates for the requests. The request-templates are accompanied by quotations templates, which have to be filled in by the subcontractor. As the communication mainly happens via the platform, it is possible to check the progress and send reminders. When multiple subcontractors have filled in the template, the platform will compare the quotations and give an overview of the results. If the user is satisfied, he can pick one.
