Last week the TU Delft Impact Contest officially started with an energetic Kick Off Event, however this year the 3rd edition saw a first: an online event. Event though participants and partners could not meet in real life, the event was a huge success! Over 140 people eagerly watched the livestream at the same time.

The organisation of the TU Delft Impact Contest shared general information about the Contest, the timeline and the amazing prizes that students stand to win. We also met Aleks, Martine and Quinten who are part of the organising team. They shared their vision about the ecosystem of students, universities, companies and governmental institutions and the reason for the Contest to involve these seemingly different parties: because collaboration is the driving force behind innovation. 

After that it was time to meet each other. Over 20 partners and 50 teams got together during several rounds of 'Meet & Greet. Connections were made and we already saw some good interaction between coaches and students. After the Meet & Greets they will stay in touch and interact with each other via the TU Delft Impact Contest dashboard.

Having concluded the Kick Off Event, now it's time for the students to start working on their innovative projects. They will follow numerous workshops provided by Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship (DCE). Participants in the Advanced Category will also have one-on-one deep dive sessions with coaches from our partner network.
