The challenge

There is often uncertainty about one’s environmental impact. From water and electricity consumption to the air quality of our surroundings and the possibility of self-grown food it is evident that there is a lack of knowledge of people’s footprint. Despite the willingness to pursue a sustainable life currently people have no availability of collecting data on their environmental impact and most importantly on the quality of their surroundings. For this reason, Luce is making an effort to bring this data to the surface.

The solution

Luce designs and develops IoT devices to enhance people's lives and create awareness of the environmental conditions we live in. We believe that nowadays the way for people to comprehend the environmental crisis is for them to see direct data of the surroundings they live in. This inevitably will increase awareness which in turn will ignite change. The first product of Luce's portfolio is Aqua. Aqua is a smart plant monitoring assistant which gathers data on plant's vitals, giving care advice to the plant owner. Furthermore, upcoming products are energy consumption, air quality, and water usage monitoring devices.
