The challenge

The maker community today is bustling with powerful ideas and is an important driver of the next manufacturing revolution. However, for a large group of makers, developing hardware products remains a long and expensive process which requires diverse skills, tools and manufacturing services. While these resources are available they are not easily accessible.

The solution

Ozar is a digital platform which connects the maker community to share resources with one another in an easy, transparent and trust-able way. It consist of a designspace and a marketplace. While the designspace fosters sharing of knowledge and design[ like CAD models, PCB layouts], the marketplace enables makers to share tools and services [ like drill machines, 3D printing, laser cutting]. This helps makers find the resources they dont posses and create value of their own underutilized resources.
