The challenge

Expanding cities no longer derive their food supply from their hinterlands, but rely on the global food trade. Consumers living in these cities are becoming distantiated with their food and especially with the production around their food.

The solution

Mini-PFALs (Plant Factories with Artificial Lighting) to reconnect the consumer with the growing of their food, while enhancing the appearance and sustainability of the built environment.
